Also Evolutionary Sleeper, if you're reading this I just discovered Okkyung Lee played cello on the second disc of Spiritual Dimensions, so now I need to buy it.

I was just gonna post about Wadada Shocked I got Wadada's Lake Biwa. Gonna give it a listen.

And I didn't realize that she did, cool.

I know you had a Hernia - S'matter of fact, I remember your location being "Hernia Plainview". I just didn't put the two together!

New Tortoise even sounds good, although I'm not sure if it's good enough to buy when there's so much else. Man, if I hadn't been so lazy and put all my money in Amex I'd have enough money for all of this! ;-) Maybe I'll just buy the MP3s instead of the physical, although I don't completely trust Amazon and emusic anymore.

I'm going to have about $200. It will mostly be for music, suggestions?

Hmm, I also want to check out Elend, the link posted in the other thread has interested me deeply.

Also: screw last.fm until it is working right.

Hey ES!
Do you have any of the Magma: Mythes Et Legendes DVD's? If so, which one is the best as far as performance goes?

My birthday is on wednesday, so I'm planning on finishing their discography + Grabbing one of the DVD's.

Thanks!

Performance-wise, Epok 1 is fantastic (even if it has Theusz Hamtaak on it Wink).

But more into Zeuhl, I predict it'd be a tough decision between Epok 2 (Wurdah Itah - M.D.K. - De Futura) and Epok 4 (Zess - [Otis ololol] - K.A.). I don't actually have anything besides Epok 1 yet, but just by seeing the tracklist, they must be the ones most certainly worth your money (Epok 3 has Kohntarkosz, but the rest is rather meh).

Planning to get Epok 2 or 4 (or both) for Christmas myself.

I've ordered Epok 2 for Christmas myself so far, the tracklist and the lineup both seem great (both Jannick and Bubu performing on bass?  Yes PLEASE!).

I'm alive.

Erm... anything new I should know about?

I still don't have Ementehtt-Re, I'm not happy!  Not that I actually have time to listen to it, mind you.  I barely have time to play Dragon Age: Origins either.

However, I may potentially have a new job lined up soon... woo!

I just read on the Wayside news post that Eskaton's 4 Visions is being remastered and released on CD...that's excellent.

And Bela Fleck has a new album too with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, aaaaaaaaahhhhhh

I've never heard of Mulatu Astatke.

James talking about work is earth shattering to me too Mike.
