well giants off to an amazing start. 3 td passes in the first quarter, running well, getting pressure. Shame they completely tanked their f**kin season, even if they win there's no guarantee it'll mean anything. |
Dude,
I am watching the Bears, Detroit just scored to make it 20-10. Maybe the Lions can pull out a miracle. They
are at home, they just need to get the big "Mo" rollin.... Your Giants have their game well in hand....

I just read on nfl.com that supposedly, the Ford family is so disturbed with the Lions culture under Jim Schwartz that he may be fired in the off season. Who knows, though, with that organization. They'll probably justify this terrible season somehow and keep everything as is.

^ He probably should be. Esp with the discipline aspect.
Lions are useless.

Well giants played a brilliant game. Too bad its too late!!! Jesus this is pathetic, how do you dominate the niners, saints and packers but choke against the skins and ravens? The talent is there clearly what the hell is wrong with this team? Well honestly its for the best, we clearly gave up several times this year. Can't say we deserve to make the playoffs, not when you just go out there and give no effort/fall flat at every key game. We coulda put the division away a month ago.... Maybe now they will take a look at themselves after this failure of a year

Lions had four tornovers. Pathethic. They really could have beat the Bears. Sorry Dude....
But there is plenty of room on the RGIII bandwagon! Actually I have a bad feeling about tomight's game...
All or nothing now. I did pick Dallas to win the division, back in September, here in this thread. I sure
hope I am wrong....

Hmmmm no. Let me see him develop into a real qb and then color me impressed. Not to take away from his success but he's running a college offense. These guys always flop in the long run, unless they develop into real qbs, which is entirely possible. until it does happen though, hes just another "THIS is the real deal" that is all hype. I lay no blame on anyone else, all the giants fault. When you're in a position that you need thelions to win, you f**ked up yes, screw the cowboys, screw your deadskins!

AP has 60 yards already. Could the record fall today?

If Peyton gets the MVP over AP, then they might as well come out and say the award can only go to QBs from now on.

AP should be the MVP. I hope he gets the record today, I miss the days of a good running game, espicially if it is only one back who carries the load. Since the Stillers are toast, I am not sure who I am pulling for yet...just always hope the Cowboys lose... .

Indeed, nothing against the great comeback of Peyton and how important he's been...but AP is the team. That simple. And again, for a running back a knee injury could be the end...every time. No guarantee you'll be back, or as strong as you were. He is playing better than before the injury! Hasn't missed a game either, this is a year for the ages.
Really pulling for him, I think the record is going down, he is running like a man possessed right now.
On a more positive note: Congrats to Eli for his first 5 TD game, huge congrats to Luck for finishing his impressive rookie year with his 11th win, and Drew Brees with his second straight 5,000 yard/40 TD season! Great stuff.
Guess I have to pull for the skins tonight, want them to fail in the playoffs but needless to say no one here wants a Cowboys win!

Wow! All came down to that final run, couldn't be scripted any better. 9 yards short, but they got the W, and turnaround from a 3 win season to 10, and are in the playoffs. Way to cap off a hellua season AP for MVP

9 Yards, man if he could have took it to the house on that one, he could have won the game and the record in 1 play. The dude is a monster, good job AP!

Yeah, I'm not sure how I feel about that final TD. But if it means the Cowgirls lose then I guess I can live with it. I'm just glad they didn't make the playoffs again. Of course, Romo proved to be Romo again and threw 3 INTs. That never helps you win.
I'm excited about the Texans on Saturday. I don't expect us to win by any means, but I think defensively our front 4 can certainly hold their own. My main concern is if our offense can get clicking enough to put up enough points to stay in it. They had a lot of trouble with that against the Steelers and Cowboys in terms of sustaining successful drives.
Then again, I thought we had zero shot against the Steelers, and while I'd prefer to be playing the Ravens, I'll take this over playing in Foxboro in January.

Again, credit where it's due: Romo has pretty much carried the Cowboys the last 2 years and while he was inconsistent in '12, he got on a really great streak. Buuuuuut with it all on the line, he did indeed throw a bit of a flop. 3 picks, and that last floater was a bad one. Anti clutch again.
Congrats to the skins. The coaching staff built a helluva system and I love Alfred Morris. No nonsense, no flash, workhorse. Love it.
Hey man, I called it! Texans are done. They have no depth/many injuries. Look at some of their games, like that one against the Jags. You guys have a solid D, keep it close and maybe Dalton can do enough.

Yeah, I want to see Cincy go far, but I just don't know with that offense. Dalton is great, but it doesn't seem like he gets a lot of help from his O line. And yes, the Texans are done. They look bad right now.

Well...good to see the cowboys still know how to choke like no other. Playoffs should be interesting. No real standouts in the NFC (IMO) and if all falls into place (ie no major upsets) another Peyton V Brady championship game in the AFC (again IMO). Also, MVP to Peterson, comeback player to Manning. (Or both to AP )
