I don't think there have been an infinite number of people who have passed into eternity.  In fact, I've heard before (not sure how accurate this information is though, although it certainly sounds plausible and I'm sure I could find out if I really cared that much) that the number of people alive today is greater than the number of people who have ever died.
I can understand your anger at me, but what did the horse I rode in on ever do to you?
