I bought that as a Christmas present to my brother. I had never heard it before.
I had to buy it after listening Keith Emerson's version of Rondo... and it turned out to be much better than what I expected...

I had already heard Take Five made by George Benson, great version, have a look:

NICE!!!!!!!!!!

^really glad you liked it.

George Benson is often overlooked due to the tag 'smooth jazz' but he really has some great material that 'jazz rock' fans would surely appreciate. I know I do.

And even better yet, up next is some neo-prog:Big smile

By the way, I know I've asked in the past, but have you listened to We're Only In It For The Money lately? I've really been loving that one lately, and I'm in serious consideration of giving it a 5 star review (the sound collages are the only thing holding me back).

I actually only have Fireball from Deep Purple, but I never really gave it much attention. Now that you mention it, I might listen to it when I finish up the Unicorn album.

I'm in the mood for more neo-prog though, so I might listen to Misplaced Childhood, and THEN Fireball. You will see my decision in a few minutesApprove

^nice, you're going to sleep late today, huh?

Fireball is one of my favorites. If you like the Hammond-Organ, pay close attention to it, while Jon Lord(the organist) may not be as technical as Keith Emerson, he really roars and gives some great grooves with his organ. Don't expect Prog, though. ENJOY!

^Cool Like I said before, enjoy.

However, I have a sort of bad feeling since you just finished a Neo-Prog album, the combination might not be really good.... Anyway, let's hope for the best!

BTW: do you listen through Windows Media or in a CD player? Just curious.

I just went from listening to 60's psychedelic rock, to extreme metalcore, to soft neo-prog, to heavy rock in a very short amount of time. I tend to jump around genres a lot, so that shouldn't affect anything.Smile

As for where I listen to music, it usually depends. Most times I listen to music through my stereo while playing Xbox (or reading, doing homework, relaxing, rockin' out, etc.), but when I'm on a PC (such as now), I use my iPod with my Sony noise-cancelling headphones. Occasionally I will listen to music through my PC, but that's rare since I have pretty crappy computer speakers.

Oh, that's nice. That means you really pay attention to the music, something I don't do often in the PC since I use speakers, which are not bad mind you.

Great to know that you also rock outCool

You can't be a metalhead without rocking outTongue

My stereo is also near to my keyboards, so sometimes I will figure out a song by ear and play along to it.
