^ That's gotta suck, just went to the grocery store and it is a madhouse (as mad as a small-town Kansas grocery store can get)

I would imagine. LOL

I also have way too much homework over the weekend for a 2-day week next week. Dead

But thankfully after Thanksgiving break, I only have 2 weeks of class then a week of exams after that. Big smile

I think work is going to suck today. Dead
You are what you bag.  You turkey. Wink  Or should I say you turkey with teeth.

I bought a new bass today.  Approve

No, this doesn't contradict the "Robert is poor" law...I sold my Fender Geddy Lee Jazz Bass last weekend and had some time to kill at a music store this week (Internet was down Monday).

Anyway, I started playing a bass I used to own a long time ago...in fact, the bass player for the first band I was in was a guy who just hung out with me and the rest of the group while we rehearsed without a bassist...we mentioned we needed a bass player, and he said, "I'll do it," ever so nonchalantly.

He was serious though.  He learned the basics on his brother's guitar (his brother was in our group).  By God, did he learn...now he's the best bass player I personally have ever worked with.

Anyway...he and I pooled our money together (literally counted and rolled pennies) and bought a relatively cheap bass- an Ibanez SR200.

I liked it, but I never thought I'd be buying another one.  But there I was- the way the neck was set up was perfect for me.  So I went back today after thinking it over and bought it.  Smile

Has anyone taken any of the tests on this website? I got a 75% on the tone deaf test, not bad for someone with no musical training.

Overall I would say I guess my average score on all the tests was "very good".

So how are things going on the western side of the state?  I'm hoping that UofM can pull off a miracle upset over the Buckeyes.

I have no clue about football.
1: no cable or digital converter.
2: I don't watch news
3: I don't care either way. Tongue

I can't wait for winter, I live in the spot that gets the most snow this low in the peninsula. Oh How I love freezing to death shoveling snow out of my driveway.

It is so hard finding good sports buddies to talk to on this site. Cry

My sarcasm detector went off on that last statement. LOL

I don't know why I don't like sports, they just don't interest me.

7 Day Forecast

And so it begins.

Baroness's new album is painfully average.
