On the non prog front I can't stand The Eagles. I would go as far as saying Hotel California is among my least favourite songs of all time.
Couldn't agree more. They might well be a better band that I give them credit for and actually have songs that I'd like but this is one of the cases where the hype around that one song just turned me off the band for good.

"Take It To The Limit" and "One Of These Nights" are the only good songs I've heard from this band. The rest of what I heard was misses, even the annoyingly repetitive "Hotel Kalifornia".

I don't really like the Beatles. I enjoy some songs ("Penny Lane", "Strawberry Fields Forever" or "I Am The Walrus"), but I've never enjoyed their albums.

Snow Dog, I am refuse to accept what you said I never bought an album myself since Ken Hensley left the band, they changed and became more Arena Rock to me. But they were brilliant before, as for as I am concerned, my ultimate all time favorite track is Salisbury wow I love that track.
Their first album Very Eavy... Very Humble, Gypsy and Bird of Prey were great
Salisbury album plus Demons and Wizards are outstanding albums for me
The Wizard track although it's a theme track it feels very emotional to me, so does Rain and obviously the above tsong i posted July Morning

Because Snow Dog has fab taste and I want to believe he is mistaken in terms of 70's Uriah Heep era with David Byron and Ken Hensley

^ She's this popular French schlager singer of our time ... or at least she was popular in Russia. Plus, I didn't know that prog fans generally like her.
