Well, I haven't been around that long, but already came across some people that like (at least some of the) bands I like too!
That includes MikeEnRegalia, ivansfr0st & Gatot (the last one based solely upon reviews)

My favorite genres are (in order):
Symphonic Prog
Modern Symphonic Prog
Space Rock / Psychedelic
Progerssive Metal
Jazz Fusion / Canterbury
So pretty much anybody who likes those genres a lot. And I also really can't get into Electronic Prog or Krautrock for some reason...

That's the key difference between you and I... I like Zappa (a lot) and you like In the Pursuit of Excellence (  )... other than that though... I'd say we essentially have the same taste in music.

I always thought of Micky as my older musical soul brother  Each time I read one of his posts, I'm thinking : I was gonna write the exact same thing. We always seem to have the same opinions and we love the same kind of music. Well, that's what I think

Re shared musical tastes, the much maligned (but mostly missed) Danbo, for me, p'raps.
Jimminy Garten-gate, too, I suppose (apart from his ill-advised fondness for drugged-out, tooty-fruity trance/dance muzak)....
