Agreed but I think twelve hours is a bit excessive. Maybe nine. |

^ I am willing to compromise, but only if they are open and grateful for the whole experience I have gifted to them.

Whenever someone gives me a chance to call them a moron and a half wit I'll do it.
Imo, prog fans aren't any snobbier than fans of any other kind of music though. Also, most prog fans tend to be big music fans in general and like all kinds of music. I don't think I've met many who like only prog.

So all the sophistication involved in at least a GOOD prog rock composition just goes over the musicians' heads? It is interesting that you can manufacture a consensus that even the musicians themselves would rather parrot.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, I never noticed. Yes, I know a handful of rather haughty progsters, but they were old farts of rock anyway :):)

Usually I'm the one being called names so it's nice to be on the other end of it for a change. Anyway, it's all in good fun of course. As Forest Gump might say though snob is as snob does. What I don't like this people thinking that prog is the only serious kind of music or the only kind of music that matters. Or that only one or two kinds of prog are important. Also, I see a lot of snobbery against neo prog and prog metal but not many other subgenres.
