Find some Renaissance book of poetry to read or something of that nature, something that can be very tedious, bound to make your eyes close faster

Umm, I'll pass on that June I'm currently reading a William S Burroughs book, it's fictional, but he bases the story partly on his own experiences on drugs. It's an interesting insight into the lifestyle addicts lead, and particularly his autobiographical stuff really hits hard, good stuff.

Sounds good.
The wife and I finally found a house for us. The shed we're in right now is owned by my grandparents, so it isn't necessarily ours. The one we found was not that big, but were only 3 in the family so that shouldn't be much of a problem. The view is also quite spectacular coz it's beside a huge mountain.
We'll move in after a year.

I took some pictures. It's a townhouse sort of neighborhood. The whole village is not finished yet and still needs some development. Most of the houses are still also under construction. We talked to the agency and hopefully by the end of this year, we'll be able to transfer. I'll upload some of the pictures.

Congrats.
It's always great to move into a freshly built house too. No renovations to do for at least a few years.

Cool stuff. Oddly enough, I'm actually just looking up Tom Waits's discography to see what albums I have yet to get by him, and one of them, The Black Rider, is actually a collaboration with Burroughs...

The music is great.
It's just Geddy and the lyrics...

Comments on the James Rush (never thought I'd be able to get those two words together) albums: I think that 'objectively' AFTK is their best. The lyrics there are still generally quite good, with two or three songs which are lyrically weak. The music is generally quality, but has moments of typically precise but pointless repeats (Cinderella Man and just this one bit of Xanadu). Still, great album. 12/15, I think. Hemispheres... OK, book 1, the lyrics are probably Rush's worst (I mean, the occasional odd rhyme scheme, but that doesn't make up for the fact that the content is erk and the words are basically picked to fill up space rather than because they have an effect). The music has a couple of highlights, but is generally nothing special. The short songs are pretty good, though. La Villa Strangiato is a big plus, if a little disorganised at times, but I love that Spanish-on-electric solo. 8/15, maybe. Anyway, next album I put on will be AFTK in celebration of the Jush marathon.

...and since I never had the chance to treat it with the grumpy-prog-fan-technique, it's pretty much flawless That's what I like about old favourites.

Alex, do you dislike any Rush album? Or better; just don't care much for it?

Nope, I like every album. Even the debut (which is my least favorite) is quite enjoyable particularly when I'm in the mood for it.
