Wink You are leading me on old boy!Smile

surprise, surprise...I choose Fokkers:

War Museum Appeals for Help with Old Fokkers
(They're German planes...for the benefit of Gdub)

Berlin: A museum with the world's largest selection of old Fokkers is to appeal to the public for assistance.

The German museum has fallen on hard times and is threatened with having to sell some of its Fokkers off if the financial situation does not improve.

Many of the 58 Fokkers in the museum have been given names by enthusiasts. These names include Mother, Father, Uncle, Stupid, Evil, Ben, Lazy and Pussy.

"Mother" Fokker

"Uncle" Fokker
'

History of the Fokker

The planes were named Fokker by the Germans as a psychological device to demoralise English people during the war.

English children were regularly slapped when they said: "Mum, here comes another Fokker", or "The Fokker came over from that way", or "It was a fast Fokker and it came in from the East," or "Stop Fokking hitting me I'm telling you the Fokking truth, Mum."

Four candles or Fork handles ?

Messerschmidts are more modern planes. While the Fokkers were so frightening to the allies that they forced a ban on the plane in the Treaty of Versailles(the Fokker D7 in particular) the Messerschmidts were 20 years more modern

Sopwith Camel or Nueport 28(may have spelled Neuport wrong)

Watch it if you get the chance. Everything on the History Channel is excellent. If you can ever catch the Barbarians again(they talk about the Vikings, Goths, Mongols and Huns) that was good fun. I could go on and on. If you get some of the premium History channels might I suggest History Timeline. I may have to catch the Alexander the Great one. He was gay by the way!

I even wathched the History of Britain...they had this pomp, we're British so we're so cool, arrogant narrator that irritated the F##k out of me. It was okay but a bit long winded(those Brits are always full of hot air as well as full of .....)and it dragged. I believe it was like 8 hours long

Hope you know you are dissing Simon Scharma! His style is not arrogant just erudite.Far better Tv than the populist Sunday-Supplement fare on offer on the "History Channel"!

David Attenborough or Bob Saget? Wink

okay Reed Lover...I am not sure what these two guys have in common, but I'll go along. I am really not a nature or animal lover but then again Bob Sagats's shows are nauseating. I do have respect for Mr Saget for making himself one of the richest guys on TV especially when you consider the insulting non intellectual drek he was involved with so I'll pick Mr Saget and his millions

Admiral Nelson or General Wellington

Wellington of course all though Nelson was harmless enough!LOL

David Attenborough BTW is probably the greatest broadcaster of the last 40 years.Stern Smile

Isn't Til Death Us Do Part A weak imitation of Married with Children? Regardless..All in the Family was the greatest sitcom ever.

Barney or Moe(from the Simpsons)...by the way., I prefered your Homer avatar better.

Did you get a chance to see The Grudge Tony?...if you liked The Ring you'll like this one as well. They are coming out with Ring II soon. Can't wait.

I still haven't seen Saw , but I plan on seeing Saw before it leaves the theatres and I am forced to rent Saw and see it in the future
