I need to listen to the debut more.
I put on M.D.K. or Retrospektiw I-II most of the time. I have their first three albums on CD. I'm not sure what's next... Attahk I think?

Magma's debut is probably the one I listen to the least. Merci doesn't count because it doesn't exist. Attahk was the one that took the longest to grow on me. Although I think The Last Seven Minutes is one of Magma's best songs now.

Well, a musical based on the Holy Grail.

I know why I keep getting that ending to M.D.K. mixed up... 'cause on the vinyl version of Retrospektiw I-II, the tracks are swapped and I keep thinking of the album that way even though I've never played it that way.

Magma are the best band ever... after VdGG, Soft Machine, Robert Wyatt (not a band, I realise), Henry Cow, Univers Zéro, Present, Shub-Niggurath and Koenjihyakkei.

I've thought about changing the order...but I'm too used to the way it is now, I think. I also need Retrospektiw I-II and Live/Hhai on CD. That will complete my Magma CD collection, having everything else in MP3 only is fine.

No so. How can an album be genius? It's not an entity. You mean: Captain Beefheart is a genius and his great creation is Trout Mask Replica.

After my purchase hiatus, I'm going to start getting a lot more UZ and Present.

I love that film, a musical must be a lot of fun. My 6 years old niece had been learning the Camelot song from watching the Lego version on youtube... Cutest thing ever.

Lies. Magma is better than all of those except Henry Cow.

It was hysterical, highly entertaining. Which was good, because seeing stuff on Broadway ain't cheap.
