Why so many early votes? Did I miss something?

And yes, normally you give valid reasons with your votes, otherwise you'll be suspicious because baddies sometimes can't get valid reasons to vote for someone...

Also, in case there is any slight confusion... the lynch kills someone, so usually you would appear to vote for someone you think is Mafia (regardless of whether you're civvie or not: either to be truthful or to manipulate). So when you vote, that's what Necktie and Ciubia have been talking about via reasoning. Even if your reasoning is hardly anything as to why you may think they could be Mafia (since it's Day 2), it's still better to state it than to leave people guessing as to why you voted.

Just voting seems more suspicious because you're trying to get someone killed without ANY sort of reason at all. If you were Mafia, that'd be fine, because anyone not on your team needs to die anyway. See what I mean?

This isn't addressed to anyone in particular, just some guidelines to help out in case anyone is a bit lost.

Saltyjon arbitrarily chose to lynch vote Necktie on day 1 (and stated as much), and Necktie did a retaliatory vote for Saltyjon. Then, UndercoverBoy votes Jon with no justification; everyone else who used some random or arbitrary method to choose stated so. This leads me to believe that it was potentially related to Necktie. Etc.

That's a great way to back up your vote, sure! If you think either of those things pinged you weirdly, then use it to substantiate your point. If you want people to follow your vote and catch who you think is a baddie, then the more convincing you are, the better.
