Esoteric was okay, but nothing I'd get wowed over.
I rejected them and so did the rest of the PMT AFAIK, because it sounded like funeral doom, and didn't really contain any progressive elements in it.

Although there was a little bit more going on than just funeral doom but not all that much more.

Well yeah, a bit more than funeral doom, but really, it was more to do with the fact it was a mix of metal styles, rather than being actually progressive music.
