VERY interesting, although it needs a few more listens. Not quite what I was expecting, although fantastic none the less.

I knew that you would like it.  They still share that same "sound" as Maudlin of the Well, so it was an instant hit with me.  Oh yeah, and Mia is still the best.

I guess I should get Led Bib, it did win the Mercury Prize and all. The funny thing is that I didn't see it on any jazz lists besides here.

No more Santa Baby for another year!

I can't help but feel that my thoughts about getting 2009 albums is playing into some sort of corporate game to always be buying new things.

If it makes you feel better you could steal them.

I can't do that either, that would be worse. Unless it's done for evaluating purposes or because the album is out of print, pirating is one of the worse things you can do in this modern era.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all Shred Room denizens.  And to Henry, may your day be less gloomy than usual.

I'm smiling thinking of Henry bounding down the stairs tomorrow in his PJs, opening up a Zorn CD, and shouting "Yeah!  Thanks Mom!"  Wink

I thought they didn't win the prize, they were only nominated.  But still get them.

Wow I thought Led Bib was like a prog album. Whoops. Sorry, not even the opportunity of being able to understand what you guys talk about is enough to get me to listen to squonky jazz.

Listening to non-Christmas music on Christmas Eve on the way home ftw.

Especially since I had to listen to Christmas music in the car ride home from relatives. Ermm
