How do you type the umlauts and such? It seems like such a bother to me.

Ë=alt+0203, ë=alt+137, ê=alt+136.  Had to learn the second one for German, the first and third I got through experimentation.

OK, I never would care enough to memorize it. I had the alt code for space memorized,  but that was because it was for creating characters in a game that didn't allow spaces.

∞ cool. http://www.alt-codes.net/

Oh yeah German 1 really was cake. I was so worried but ended up with an A. 2 is alot harder (well for me at least). I also did get a bit lazy with it...

Astounding Eyes of Rita is pretty good so far. I didn't get The Moment's Energy for Christmas, but I suppose I have enough avant-garde music as it is.

I just heard a track from him the other day on Pandora, one of the few times I have taken the time to look up the artist.

I just finished playing through Braid, that was definitely an interesting game, lots of fun.

OK they aren't Christmas songs. They are about Cthulhu and all other Lovecraftian horror.

I don't know, I don't particularly mind the Jethro Tull Christmas songs I've heard so far.

I really think Lovecraft is overrated. He had some interesting ideas, but his prose is awful, and he kept having to think of more and more things that would drive a man mad. First Cthulhu was the most horrifying thing in the universe, then the Old Ones, then the Shoggoths, then the Elder Gods, etc.

I do feel a little silly, though, that I had The Astounding Eyes of Rita in my possession before I knew what an oud was. :/

Another reason I love being home...my favorite local music store. Going tomorrow, have $25 to blow! Who knows what I'll leave with

And for some reason seeing the word prose reminded me of Nathaniel Hawthorne. Then I got VERY angry and destroyed my room....

That is why it is so much fun. It's funny because it is no more absurd than anything else.

I kept getting Puddle of Mudd Songs in the Key of Love and Hate Vol. 1, which I thought was funny.
