@Matt: OK then, I'll pay you 6 once I have 6 again.  With my (now 29) gold, I buy Tarkus, equipping him with the Stone of Years and whatever armor I have.

Damn, I knew your plan too.

Can't you wait for Rob to post up the new gladiators?  He may surprise you and put up a decent cheap guy.

I presume you keep your special items... you definitely get to keep your normal ones.
