I had gave ELP a vote here, in someway like forseeing they were going to be one of least voted here, I think they deserve quite a few more than these miserable 6 votes here.

As much as I love Yes, ELP, Genesis, Tull and King Crimson, The Dark Side of the Moon WAS 1973.

Dark Side for me. If it weren't for Battle of Epping Forest, I might have voted for Genesis.

I'm not a huge ELP fan, but Brain Salad Surgery is a 5 star bonafide prog masterpiece. i don't rank it higher than the three big ones here though.

This is a tough vote. My natural inclination is to always side with King Crimson, no matter the year. Pink Floyd, on the other hand, is a hit or miss band for me. I'll pick Dark Side because I don't think Pink Floyd ever topped it.

Now this one really is almost impossible. Quality abounds and each of them deserve a vote!
With difficulty I've narrowed it down to BSS and DSOTM. Can I have 2 votes?

Larks Tongues for me, the only 'classic' KC album that was basically a masterpiece throughout.

Yo, ho, yo, ho A Passion Play for me! I do understand how 'Moon and 'Pound lead this thing, but I tend towards Larks' Tongues more often than those two. I always feel that 'Moon is best appreciated listening to in one sitting (and I just don't have that kind of time unless it's background noise), and 'Pound is a little staid in its approach (and points off for I Know What I Like (In Your Wardrobe).

One of my favorite years and very difficult to chose one, but since I recently got a clean digital version of A Passion Play I have voted for that one.
