As a matter of fact June (who is a member here) gave me the link to their myspace page a couple of days ago. And of course the my idiotic reaction came immediately: 'that sounds like Magma!' *insert idiotic face here!*
So the answer is yes! And really liked them.LOL

But they do have their own made-up language! LOL

My favourite Japanese album at the moment is Osorezan from Geinoh Yamashirogumi: http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=65677 I just love that album.

Nothing against Epig, but when I am looking for Zeuhl recommendations he isn't the first person who comes to mind.

Nor me, or anything with avant qualities for that matter.  Chacuns a sons gout.

Hi Elizabeth

Hope you will enjoy your journey on the ship.

And to give you a clue of what the Crimson King is, it is also known in the litterature as Satan, Beelzebub, Mephistopheles, Azazel, Belial, Astaroth...

I don't have any favourite Koenjihyakkei album yet, as I have only heard several tracks. But after I finish with the Magma studio albums, I'll most likely give some Koenjihyakkei albums a listen.Wink

Merci, Lucas!

Merci, Lucas!

You may want to hold off on checking out Merci for a while, a lot of Magma fans can't stand the majority of it.  I think it's a good album, but it's definitely different than their other releases.

Did anyone notice that "zeuhl" is kobaļan for "soul" ? Of course any comparison with soul is out of place...

LOL Actually I was thanking Lucas in French for the welcome. Completely forgot about that Magma studio album!

And who is bashing Kansas? If it weren't for them I'd probably still be listening to the Spice Girls.Embarrassed

Oops I deleted, but you saved it, since another post got in between and was going to repost with quote, but I don't think people are so stupid that they couldn't have understood what I was referring to.

I actually like some Kansas, and never explored that deeply.  But as for....

Oh, I wasn't even talking about that part.  I said that because you said you were holding off on checking out Koenjihyakkei until after you've finished with the Magma studio albums.  Just mere coincidence that you happened to say Merci in the post as well. Tongue

Dziękuję (I am a native of Poland) is more appropriate (anyone remember 'Dziekuje Poland live '83' that should create unanimity among progheads - it was released by a musician who is here in "progressive electronic").
