Girl: "What kind of music do you listen to?"
Me:"I like that music from that guy, sh*t what's his name? You know... he was on Letterman a while ago.. ah wait Rob something... Robert... you know... help me here!?"
Girl: "sorry, i don't watch Letterman, he annoys me. Are you talking about Robert Fripp by any chance? Because I don't think he has ever been on Letterman..."
Me: "Who the hell is Robert Fripp?"
Girl: "Oh, excuse me, i was under the impression that you were searching for something witty to say to my question, and assumed you listened to strange music (progressive rock), therefor assuming you meant Robert Fripp when you said 'Rob', no? He is a master of progressive rock guitar playing..."
Me: "Doesn't ring a bell... wait, was I thinking of Rober Plant? no... not him... hmmm, still can't remember"
Girl: "I don't care much for the music of Led Zeppelin anyways, but you should listen to some Fripp..."
*GIRL HANDS ME KING CRIMSON - RED*
Me: I'll give this a listen, thanks
*Boy goes home, puts it on, cuz' he has nothing else to do...*
Me (on the phone): Hello is this Suzan (the girl)?
Girl: Yes, it is, good evening
Me: Marry Me!

hardly a one liner, but this COULD happen.
Note: The girl is more into prog than the boy, I thought this would be a good turn on the sexism :)

I once said that I liked Genesis and the answer was "Oh, that's absolute ". That very same day I noticed that my bicycle back tire was flat. No hole, but the valve was open. Hmmm...

I don't speak music outside of my family. And they have hard times with the stuff I'm into. So, imagine with the women... Oh, wait, there was this metalhead girl who also enjoyed Stockhausen... Oh, wait, she was lesbian...
