okay, one more

Banco - Darwin!

I'm also very fond of Io Sono Nato Libero but after many many listenings over many years, I seem to enjoy Darwin! most
and find it to be a true pearl.
quality over quantity, and all kind of PopcoRn almost beyond

Darwin clicked the least for me, and so I have to rank Io Sono and the debut above it. Not a bad album by any stretch though.

That is an E, and that is a C LOL Not in iTunes/Apple Music, it isn't!

It's not so much about who you own the most albums by rather than picking Bands in the category that you enjoy, have more than 1 album in their catalog, and then picking the LP from the band that connects with you.

I get it now! (I've gone back and edited accordingly.)

Well, if we all started listening to Apple Music now, that would nullify the purpose of everything up to this point.

I don't see your edits; I'm curious for your picks for....
- Bruford
- BBT
- Jeff Beck

Some that haven't been named so far:

Bijelo dugme - Hitovi 3 (a compilation, most songs are some of their most proggy)

Black Hill - Tales of the Night Forest (instrumental guitar post-rock, tranquil and memorable riffs and melodies)

Blind Guardian - Nightfall In Middle-Earth (excellent choruses)

Instead of 'album', I go with 'work'. It makes it more open.

Johann Sebastian Bach - Goldberg Variations
The Beach Boys - Pet Sounds
The Beatles - Revolver
Ludwig van Beethoven - Piano concerto No. 4
Björk - Post
Blondie - Parallel Lines
Blur - Think Tank (I'm serious)
David Bowie - Low
Johannes Brahms - Symphony No. 4
Jeff Buckley - Grace

Wow, you're a real fan.

(incidentally, I prefer their debut or Darwin)

Amos Goldberg (professor of Genocide Studies at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem): Yes, it's genocide. It's so difficult and painful to admit it, but we can no longer avoid this conclusion.

Well,

I got all Area discography.

I consider their debut Arbeit Macht Frei the most beautiful Italian (prog or non-prog) album ever.

They've published some other great albums (especially Maledetti) but none of them can reach that peak.

I saw Fariselli's Area Open Project this summer in Porretta Terme. They played the whole of Arbeit Macht Frei (they had a female singer who did a quite good job at it even if clearly nobody is like Stratos). I agree, this is a monster of an album.

I'm writing this here even though it's the B thread. Wink

It's Goodbye and Hello from me again, where it's a case of Happy Sad for me regarding Tim Buckley's albums. I hope you'll bear with me as I have a bit of catching up to do before I reach the
 letters C, D & E. Smile
