07. 1971: The YES Album - http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_nY-QvLEUh8bovdW1btwUXJHE8I_W5bIbA
Jon Anderson and the Band Geeks perform a medley of classic Yessongs. I think Starship Trooper is included there somewhere, And You and I know that's the best song on The YES Album, although Yours is No Disgrace if you prefer another song instead. 08. 2011: Fly from Here - http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLknWpd5vdlOSXG98H36D1l3pc2183t9z5
Just two more YES albums to feature, then it'll be time for me to Fly from Here, although I won't be flying Yorkshire Airplanes, as their one airplane only flies to Leeds - the same place it takes off from - because if it's outside Yorkshire, it's not worth visiting - especially if you're a Yorkshireman. 09. 1973: Tales from Topographic Oceans - http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_kb8xEtrxemjdLgHaZzOfS5MFHI7oBseQc Undoubtedly, The YES Album that's been the Big Generator of the most controversy over the years is Tales from Topographic Oceans. YES, it's a long double album with four long Yessongs which was treated like a rotten Tormato by the music press, but if you Open Your Eyes, you'll gain The Keys to Ascension and realise what a classic album this is. The album came Close to the Edge of splitting the band up, when there was a Magnification of tensions within the group with so many Fragile egos at stake. In the ensuing Drama, Time and a Word has it that Rick Wakeman threatened to walk out during the recording of the album. Tales from Topographic Oceans climbed The Ladder of success though, topping the UK album charts for two weeks. Rick Wakeman left the band and didn't appear on the following Relayer album. There was Talk of a re-Union, but Heaven & Earth had to be moved to persuade Rick to return for the Going for the One album in 1977. The best-selling YES album of all, released in 1983, was famously named after its catalogue number, 90125, and that's coming up here next. Just one more YES album left to feature before I Fly from Here. Edited by Psychedelic Paul - August 16 2023 at 00:57 |

I'm guessing live albums don't count? Because Yessongs is basically my favourite version of Fragile. This will be a very loose ranking because I love a lot of early Yes equally. Albums:
Songs (hard picks for all):
Honourable mention: America (cover)

Not really my favorite, no. I will say Awaken is awesome, but the rest of the album isn't really my particular cup of tea.
