If I really wanted to make a poll with a lot of engagement, I suppose I'd just have to make another Yes/Genesis poll. Silly me.
It was a fair enough assumption, given that you came begging on a completely different poll. LOL

I suppose. "Begging" is a bit strong for what I was going for. But hey, what can ya do when it's over text as opposed to speech? Anyway, I guess for every poll about over-discussed groups on the forums, there's a person complaining about over-discussed groups on the forum. This time, it was me hehe.

No worries, I was just being a smart-a**.

Two of my very favourite albums. I can't separate them.

Trespass is a big favourite, and the most underrated Gabriel era Genesis album, but Yes Album is in a class above.

I need to pay a lot more attention to Trespass but Genesis have so many great albums it's hard!

The Yes Album is a massively important album only very slightly 'spoilt' by The Clap. I think I prefer the studio version of Yours Is No Disgrace to future live versions. Tony Kaye is so good on that. Starship Trooper is also an undoubted classic. Yes were already hitting their stride but it needed a stellar keyboard player to take this them to the next level. That said Kaye's organ work on here is as good an anyone inc Emerson and Wakeman.

I’m a bigger Classic-era Genesis fan and love Trespass, but The Yes Album is even better

The Yes Album was the first Yes album I bought (on cassette!) back in the early 80s. I loved it then and I love it now.

Trespass I have only fairly recently begun to enjoy but I'm enjoying it immensely. Why Stagnation doesn't get mentioned with the other great Genesis songs, I'll never understand.

Hard for me to vote. I think I have to go with both equally

Trespass, but if there is a Yes album I can appreciate, it is probably The Yes Album.

Never been a huge fan of the Yes Album, still amazing, but a bit overrated in my opinion. Trespass it is.

The Yes Album, by far. With the exception of the whimsical "A Venture", it's an album of fully-formed timeless masterpieces.

Trespass is the work of some very talented amateurs with a lot of promise. I like "Stagnation", "Dusk", and the Anthony Phillips guitar solo on "The Knife". The rest I can take or leave.
