My fav album that year its Mak Hollis solo album followed by Morte Macabre " Symphonic Holocaust", Anathema "Alternative 4" and Katatonia "Discouraged Ones"

It was a really tough call between Opeth and GSYBE, but I decided to go with Opeth since that's one of my two favorites by them (the other being Still Life)
