Don’t worry about the lacking prog quotient though. Take a look at the listening thread where brilliant prog connoisseurs seem to have caught the 80s thrash bug. There are similarly equally many into modern stuff that many a times lies on the cusp of prog.
If you need some new albums to check out that both are listed here on PA yet doesn’t sound like Genesis teaming up with a 90s heavy metal producer, well then just speak up. Lots of great music being produced right now.

Actually a variation of this response. Maybe it's because I'm too lazy to go back over my record collection, but I have a pile of albums I've bought over the last couple of months and they are the ones I've been playing regularly. They include Marillion, King Crimson, Big Big Train, Dave Gilmour, Opeth and Steve Hackett.

Been a while since I listened to that Oranssi Pazuzu one myself, and it’s quite the monster. Love the primal rhythmic drive of it - in places it even reminds me of Krautrock.
