Loved your list Iris, and decided today that I'm not going to do one. I can't - too much to choose from, and every day I tried would result in a different list.

It was very difficult for me as well Angelo. I also wanted to include William D Drake, Echolyn and a lot of other bands/artists.

well you do need to correct that..

and take your ears for a ride..  I remember the words of the west coast sage and uber musician John Hagelbarger when I asked him what he thought of them when we saw these guys... 

it sounds like a country group discovered Yes... or Yes discovered country-western.. I'll be damned which way ..but f**k it man. This rules.
