But DSO is Avant.

They totally have metal in their music, and they are classified as avant-metal on MMA.

Good classification.
Better than avant-progressive, better than Tech/Extreme Prog Metal.

Yeah it is, I am not a metal expert, but I didn't think they were Tech/Extreme Prog Metal.

Indeed.
I even think Avant-Progressive is a better classification, considering bands as Mr. Bungle, Secrets Chiefs 3, Vladimir Bozar 'NZSO...

Not to mention Naked City. I agree with you, but I doubt that they would change their genre for some reason.

They surely won't change. I wouldn't fight to change it anyways.
Naked City is not Metal.

No, but they do have some influences, I guess Painkiller is a better example.

I'm thinking more Hardcore Jazz, or something...
Moonchild Trio is more of a Metal band, from what I've heard.

Pretty good. With Trevor Dunn and Mike Patton, not really of fan of these guys, but MCT is good.
I like their first album. It's only rated 2.75 or something here.

I don't know what you're talking about. I ignore what you are talking, in fact.
