I didn't know your avy was an album! What is it? |
Its Mines by Menomena... its indie but they have a great keybordist as well as bari sax. They are really funky and frequently experimental. Their earlyer album Freind and Foe is probalbly a better introduction for proggers but Mines (atleast to me) has a great 70s hard rock vibe while being distinctly indie.

Pure beauty, this album presents two sides of turkish music : a folk/traditional one, a classical one.

Hello Matt, I saw an album by Caetano Veloso today in a second-hand store, but I have no clue when it was recorded. It has a black and blue cover with solhouettes in black dancing on a blue background : I checked on the internet for the discography of the guy but I couldn't find back this album. I am wondering if it is the self-titled album (white album) with an alternate cover ?
I will return to the shop tomorrow and enquire about this album. i am also tempted to buy an album by italian artist Renato Zero, 'Trapezio', nice italian pop.
