Excellent stuff.

Alamaailman Vasarat and Hoyry-Kone are two huge gaps in my RIO collection.

Oh. Cry

That's sad news indeed.  My grandfather had Alzheimers.  It was really hard to visit him.

Oh and not to make a bad joke either but Agneta's stalker had the surname of "van der Graaff". Confused

Indeed.

Contrary to most people, I prefer AV to H-K.

They sort of sound like a modern-sounding AMM, only noisier.  Their first album is noisier than their second.  In fact, their second is quite laid back at times.

I prefer Jaga Jazzist myself.  Although their sound is quite different.

Weird.

Maybe that ABBA thread was right... every music  and music genre produced in the 60s and 70s are related to prog. Big smile

Absolutely nothing. (Saxon's new tracks doesn't count because its novelty only makes me happy, and maybe them too)

You?

The Soft Parade might be The Doors most prog album.  It's also probably their worst (well, I haven't heard the post-Morrison albums yet, but individual songs weren't too bad at all).  I haven't listened to it in forever, so I'm doing so now.

Six Cylindres en V = scrummy!

They sound much more avant-prog this time around.  Now that's weird.

Outlining a big report I have to do, and the scope of the remaining work scares me.

Also, having a beer and posting here.

I'll wait tomorrow for the beer...

Mmm... actually, I got this bottle of Champagne when I got my degree, which I never drank, and today I made the last payment on my student loan (yeah, I got it a while ago Unhappy), so maybe I could finally open it to celebrate my new found freedom. Nice change from beer, I guess.

Maybe sounds weird, but I need a bit of a break.  I think I listened to five or six albums today.

Strangely I'm not in a weird mood as usual.

I have no idea why.  I have no reason to be in a non-descript mood.  Rather, I should be down and feeling weird.
