Meh, Kayo Dot won last year... oh, I mean the year before.

It's time for either Guapo or Guapo to win.

That's why I voted for Henry Cow.

The opposite for me.
I had heard many of this year's releases, so it was a hard time for me to pick.

What sort of harmonica should a n00b get?

Don't underestimate a harmonica. It sounds really loud too. That's the main problem with wind instruments. I know what I'm talking about being a sax/flute player.

RIP in bossa nova heaven.

Get a C harp, preferably Hohner but Lee Oskar is cool too.

I personally like spending the extra money and getting a Blues Harp (by Hohner).  It's got a wooden comb and it sounds nicer (and plays better too, you can do draw notes smoother, I find).

Do you mean, top place at PA, or PF?
I and pretty much no else but Rico is gonna know straight who wins this year's PA top place, but according to the PF ratings, Kayo Dot and Guapo are first and second place respectively.

Mmm... I'm heading to Archambault tomorrow anyway, maybe I'll look up how much a harmonica can cost. I wanted to get a tin whistle when I got into Irish folk, but haven't found one offshore yet. Maybe Twigg has them.

My list goes:

1. Stockholm and Goteborg
2. The Bedlam in Goliath
3. Obzen
4. Watershed
5. Ayreon's new album that I don't want to mess up at the moment LOL

Haven't heard Cynic or Kayo Dot yet though.

Oh, and that's discluding In Anima. If I were to include that... not sure where I'd put it. Part of me wants to put it first in self-arrogance, but part of me says that it's definitely not better than Henry Cow for sure, let alone a few others. LOL

Did not like Ayreon album much at all.

Goddamn cheesy, and not just the lyrics, but the way it was executed, was WAYYY too cheesy for me.
