I've been told my accent sounds like if you could imagine a Canadian, American, English and Australian all at once.
Weird, but that's what I've been told.
And yes, I prefer how American English drops the U from words like color, neighbor and all those various words that require a U in Brit English.
Plus, Centre (Brit spelling) vs. Center.
Center looks so much better.

The only non-American things I use are: neighbour and I also generally use the European dating system (day/month/year) since it makes more sense than month/day/year. Though I'll use both, depending on whether I'm taking notes just for myself or documenting something that someone else will see.

And I'd have to hear that accent.
