Marijuana serves a ton of different purposes all of them positive. I could list it's medical benefits all day, but the main thing to take into consideration is that Pot kills... No one. You can't overdoose on pot, it doesn't cause disease, and actually promotes health benefits. alcohol on the other hand, causes sorosis, pickles your brain, turns you into a moron, makes you violent and kills tons of people year round. Another thing is why the hell is tobacco legal!?! Who's idea was that. Tobacco!! Lung Cancer, Heart Disease, and it can cause basically every other form of cancer as well. So yes, pot should be legal. Of course any one can grow it, no tax profit there...

So I'm channel surfing and I come across two different but similar documentaries on this plant and both of them are chocked full of disinformation.  And what kind of amuses me the most is the disinformation campaign being used against hemp, which is botanically related, but not intoxicating.  Pot isn't good for rope and rope hemp won't get you stoned.

I used to say no, but to be honest after hearing both sides there are a lot more pros than cons to it.  I don't like it at all but I do think it's necessary.  Won't ever see me doing it though.

I'm not for prohibiting any of those substances.

Of course marijuana should be legalized.

It doesn't necessarily require previous use. It's a matter of principles.

Now of course I've used it in the past though nowadays I don't feel that attracted to it. Good music, an intelligent (or not so) book, an entertaining movie, a good loving session with my girl can take me much higher...

I mean the only real argument against it is some morality type thing, and in this case it's a very very weak one.
There must be like 10 angles one can take for legalization.

But nah, it's bad and wrong lol

I would say yes, but there is one problem. I've heard some evidence that marijuana can cause psychosis in a small group of people. Meaning, they go insane, usually getting paranoid schizophrenia, and are pretty much guaranteed to spend the rest of their lives in a mental institution.

So therefore you're a bird habitat that you've been to?

By all means keep using your terrible logic to call everyone a pothead though.

And the heart medication that half the country is on causes death in a small group of people.

The only coherent argument against it is: "I have a certain moral code that I want to force others to live by."

People should just admit to it.

You should always ask yourself, what would Jesus do?
