Any good references J? Did they do a good, professional job? Do you think that I could fly them over here to do mine, and fly them back and still have two shiny nickels to rub together, or possibly sixpence? Although I suppose if I am going to put up the money to fly anyone over here, I'd be better off doing so for a prog rock band that otherwise might not come here. But alas, all my nickels would be gone again.

Hi Alex, how are you this morning? Have you had any luck in persuading your fellow Suede Roomers that Rush iss de hundin; or whatever the slogan is in there.

People who agree with me are persuaded already by someone else or themselves, while the people who don't agree could never be persuaded. So I'm not sure. ![Confused](smileys/smiley5.gif) ![LOL](smileys/smiley36.gif) I'm pretty good! Getting a bit hungry so I might have to satisfy that soon... this weekend has been very relaxing after two busier school weeks and I've hardly done any work so I feel lazy, but I needed it. How about you?

Yardwork is calling me, but I am too lazy to go outside and tackle it. I am just delaying the inevitable. I really need to pop the earphones in and get outside and start working.

Yeah, I know what you mean there. I should probably head for a while myself, get some lunch, then possibly clean and get some stuff done. I'll figure it out. On that note (wow, that was a bad pun, since I just finished that song), I'm out. Take care! Talk to you soon.

They did a splendid job, thank you...I now have a hedge only half the size as it was before...![Big%20smile](https://www.progarchives.com/forum/smileys/smiley4.gif)

Half of my hedge just died to the sound of Poverty's No Crime's One in a Million coarsing through my veins.

It must be the cover of Distant Early Warning that puts it over the top.

Indirectly, yes. Alex, are you familiar with the band Wolverine? They might appeal to your Opeth side.

Approved - while not yet at the 30 threshold, JD is a father, which adds considerable years and grey hairs...

I'm not. I might have to hear them. I assume they're prog metal then?

Here is a sample of the Wolverine song His Cold Touch. They were more of a death metal band earlier on. They are mellower now but still growl from time to time. I can't stand death growls but these don't make me cringe as much as Opeth does.

Sadly, women who love prog are a very rare specimen indeed.... ![Disapprove](https://www.progarchives.com/forum/smileys/smiley13.gif)
however, rarer still are women who can find it in their hearts to love prog fans.... ![Cry](https://www.progarchives.com/forum/smileys/smiley19.gif)

I am...I nearly saw them earlier on in the year, until they cancelled... ![Ouch](https://www.progarchives.com/forum/smileys/smiley18.gif)
they aren't *quite* my cuppa, but not bad...a bit of a mix between Opeth and Novembre, I'd say... ![Ermm](https://www.progarchives.com/forum/smileys/smiley24.gif)
