Yeah true. But he's more inclined towards Northern Ireland, which is British of course, I wasn't sure which part of Ireland was implied.

The whole of Ireland in it's entirety is part of the British Isles. It is not a political distinction.

I pondered that; not being sure "where" they belong. If there are any Icelanders here I'll be curious what they choose. Northern Europe, I would guess. Or perhaps Western.

I'd say probably Northern, at least that's what I would consider the Scandinavian countries to fall under. Lovely country though. I was there a couple of years ago with my dad.

I live in the eastern part of a city called Marietta which is part of the Greater Atlanta area. Along the Chattahoochee River, bordering on another city called Roswell. My exact polar coordinates are

Bollocks. The Republic of Ireland has been independent from the UK since 1922. They fought for that autonomy and the distinction is recognised as a republic wef 1949 which transferred the remaining duties of a monarch to an elected president. What time tunnel did you come through
