Although, as a rule, I never accept chocolate from a cat.

Cats for sure! I grew up with cats, and they are simply amazing and sweet creatures!
If you know to respect their 'privacy' at some points...
But my last most wonderfull and good cat was killed by a car a few months ago, and now he is buried in our garden... The poor soul... Cry

Chocolate, obviously. Cats are cool, but overrated.

If cats were an album, I'd give them 3.5 stars. Chocolate would get 5.

But I never saw a cat begging for chocolate, contrary to dogs.

I'm so allergic to cats, but I love them so much. No fair.

I am not allergic to chocolate however, and I love it to the same degree.

Chocolate wins by default.
