Troll portnoy is less funny now. I thnk you should take it down for a week then put it back up and maybe it will be funny again.

Be careful, I might use Sad Portnoy next.

Studio albums

they are now signed for Roadrunner
On November 8, 2011, Gojira released an update stating they had been acquired by Roadrunner Records and would be releasing the new studio album under their label for a spring 2012 release.

Regarding the new partnership, Joe Duplantier said: [23]

We are so stoked to walk with the legendary Roadrunner. We discovered Sepultura, Machine Head, Death, Fear Factory and so many other great bands thanks to these guys. Roadrunner has been a great source of inspiration for us as metal fans. It's an honor to be part of this family today as a band. We feel we'll get the right support at the right moment in our career. We cannot wait to release our new record and get back on the road.

Sounds fantastic. Roadrunner seems to be a good label.

Acoustic, romantic Meshuggah would be all sorts of win.

yeah, never underestimate a powerfill ballad (not a power ballad), it is interesting to think that the most haled KC song is the ballad Starless, though a long and complex ballad, a progressive ballad, but still a ballad, i stil the ballad format is very easly dismissed as something that has to do with romance and love, but that is only a small portion of what ballad as a genere/style is, ballad is one of the most important ingrediance in a prog album IMO

Hiya Henry.

Jens Kidman seems to have the writing ability necessary to write lyrics for a ballad that wouldn't sound stupid or cheesy.

The most common use of the term ballad in modern pop music is for an emotional love song.

I read Jens Lehman and he sure came up with a sh*tty 16-minute EP last year.

that doessent mean that the ballad is love song only genere, theri can be tragedy, or humor,

The ballad probably derives its name from medieval French dance songs or "ballares" (from which we also get ballet), as did the alternative rival form that became the French Ballade. In theme and function they may originate from Scandinavian and Germanic traditions of storytelling that can be seen in poems such as Beowulf.[1] The earliest example we have of a recognisable ballad in form in England is ‘Judas’ in a 13th-century manuscript.[2]
