This is correct. In the end of the sixties and during the seventies it was rather common to do this. Nowadays I get the feeling it is getting obsolete, it is not done as often as it used to be done (just like progrock sometimes seems to be
). But maybe there will be a revival, who knows (another Woodstock???). I think Outkast sets a step in the right direction. I wasn't very fond of "Miss Jackson" (only for the emotional irony maybe) but I liked the song "Hey ya" the first time that I heard it.
