In school, my work ethic is incredible, especially compared to my peers. I certainly consider myself someone who works hard. As for a job....don't have one. Unhappy

As much as I share the feeling... it's leisure that was invented... from the beginning of time, humankind has had to work... all day long... it's these days that have finally brought to us the concept of leisure time and hobbies and sh*t.... civilization.. lazinization....

If its a job I like doing, I do my best. If I hate it, I do the bare minimum.

I'm somewhere between 'if a job's worth doing...' and 'I love my job'. I love the teaching part of my job (most of the time) but that's now less than 50% of my working hours, the remainder being divided between management (a loose description in my case) and the associated admin (which I'm much better at supervising than actually doing).

I was ahead of the cutting edge when it came to slackerdom, and only got started on what might be called a career well into my 30s. There are still days when I miss my bong and daytime TV, but unless I win the lottery that's all behind me now Cry.
'Like so many of you
I've got my doubts about how much to contribute
to the already rich among us...'

If I won the lottery I'd have bong of my own, and of course a second bong in the country.. Alas, it's just a PIPE dream.... see what I done there..??

I had an exhilarating 8 hours of scheduled work last week! I think I might have milked 9 out of it.

When they say you can have 20ish hours a week during the summer, they should probably, y'know, give you at least half of that.
