FWIW - I'm voting for YES.

A agree that Favorite is better than Best. And yes, Yes is my favorite Prog band, followed closely by Rush.

Without any competition, GENESIS: twanging acoustic 12 - and 6 string guitars, Hackett guitar, Banks keyboards, Peter Gabriel vocals, Collins-Rutherford rhythm-section, Supper's Ready, Watcher Of The Skies, Fountain Of Salmacis .... my ultimate progrock band !

i have more than one the best ones:

yes, genesis, vdgg, rush, elp

they fill different rooms in my heart and they are nicely complementary, thus cannot compare them.

I think Pink Floyd is out, it is right because PF is different from others not compare with any band, i vote for Genesis.
