What's that in the background?  I recognize the sequencer in the front, but I don't know what that is in the back.

ELP will drop out after a few years of warring, just like Russia in WWI.

Pffff...Greg Lake is fat and Keith Emerson has carpal tunnel.  They'd be lucky to last twenty minutes against Fripp or Vander.

like most of you all... you forget the important one... Palmer... who looks like he's in better shape now than 30 years ago

Fripp and Vander wouldn't last 10 min against  Palmer

Have you heard Vander drum lately?  He's more powerful than ever!  He may be fat and hairy, but the man has managed to become even more monstrous behind the kit.

I haven't..... I really wanted to see Magma at Nearfest earlier this year but was in Italy.  I love Vander man.  He is a god.... but Palmer would still take  him.  Tough one.. my favorite two drummers there.

Agreed.

And I don't think ANYBODY needs to point out how Paganotti, Top, Moze, Delacroix, etc. are better bassists than Greg Lake by several orders of magnitude.  Or how Klaus Blasquiz could sing circles around Lake, for that matter.

I think regardless of whose side any one is on, a war between Gabes and Frippers will most certainy be civil.

I know... which is why we need more polarizing participants...
