Oh, come on people! Big Generator isn't that bad! I mean, it is the only Yes album I own, so I guess I'm not one to judge and whatnot, but still...

Wont be crazier than the Zappa tourney, seeing as how we have some very disgruntled Joes Garage lovers over there right now. |
Sorry...I like Zappa, but don't have enough zappa albums to participate in a useful way on that one....

I have all of Yes' albums, and agree that it isn't THAT bad....It is far from their best, but really not the worst IMHO...but it seems to be on the way out here....

I quite like Big Generator, it's better than 90125 imo. From what I've heard of "Open Your Eyes", that's the one.

I am always surprised that people vote against CTTE, especially in the early rounds....
Why? Because so many do love it so much that they feel the need to knock it down a peg?

Notice that the people who have voted for CTTE have not posted to justify their vote.

If only for the track 'Changes', 90125 is better than Big Generator, in my opinion.
Would'nt want to meet your grandmother, though !

I don't have anything past Big Generator and I would honestly say its between relayer and CTTE. I love all their albums (minus the ones I don't have) and they are all close in quality. I understand those are two of the more popular ones but I have felt that way since I started listening to Yes, its just a matter of personal peference. Don't be angry that my vote is for Relayer (although it could easily have been Close to the Edge)

You must not have Tormato either. Circus of Heaven demands that this album be the FIRST to go....and that's what I voted for.
|
Circus of Heaven is terrible, but it is a Jon Anderson solo track. No clue how it wound up on the final album though
