ok if you don't touch the progressive electronic page...because this band 100 % belongs to the metal zone (in term of musical influences, artwork...)

They will be added under Prog Metal Philippe.I don't add bands to any other genre.

you know what, i was just thinking about it again, and maybe the Ozric Tentacles are sort of a good example of what i am looking for, but more space and less rock

ClapThumbs Up Ozric Tentacles is what everyone is looking for - they just don't realise it yet.

honestly, i kind of think the Ozrics are sort of kitchy, but still pretty good

i also think something along the lines of the Cosmic Jokers' Galactic Supermarket would be fitting, but it needs to be darker

Well, you're entitled to your opinion but I don't see the Ozrics as being kitchy. For me, kitchy would be Lordi.

hahaha, i hate those type of bands, ok, yeah, now that is kitch

i don't mean it in that way for the ozrics, there is more integrity there than Lordi, i just feel like they are making music for the sake of making music, not really anything you have to look too deep into

^ Why, because they don't have lyrics or vocals? Some would argue that instrumental music is the purest form of music.

I forgot to look into my collection for you last night for more recomendations.. I'll definitely get back to you, I promise!

ColorStar - Heavenicetrip
Cosmic Jokers - Galactic Supermarket
Cosmic Jokers - Cosmic Jokers
DarXtar - We Came Too Late
Hawkwind - Space Bandits
Hawkwind - Levitation
Lamp Of The Universe - Echo In Light
Korai Orom - Any album

i think what i am looking for is an all electronic version of Ash Ra Tempel's first song from their s/t, hahaha

or someone that uses the synths similar to amon duul II

or a heavy version of Affenstunde (sp) (although just a little less random)

As far as the Ozrics go, i guess i think their music is aimless and doesn't create any good space landscapes for me (my sister calls it "space cat-walk music", and i sort of think she is right), don't get me wrong, i think they are the best space band today, but i think that is just commenting on the poor state of psychadelic/space rock, I kind of think that Hidiria do it better than them

Early Tangerine Dream - Alpha Centauri and Atem. Quite thundering and apocalyptic at times. Fantastic albums, not like their later melodic style. (perhaps also their debut Electronic Meditation)

Over land and under ashes
In the sunlight, see - it flashes
Find a fly and eat his eye
But don't believe in me
Don't believe in me
Don't believe in me
