Nope I read that same article, they mentioned that In the Cage was auto biographical and he was talking about his problems with his brother John.

But in the official Genesis page they explained this was not accurate because the only Genesis member that has a brother John is Steve Hackett (Who still today plays flute in Steve's concerts).

If I'm not wrong I can remember they said Peter didn't have brothers only a sister, but that seems a mystery because no bio page mentions his parents, brothers or sisters.

Thanks Atkingani, I only knew they were still alive, but still his life before Charterhouse late years is a mystery, no mention of his sister Anne or brothers.

Still seems strange.

BTW, according to the site guigo referenced, Steve Hackett is not the only one with a brother called John!

Ah, well I've kind of met (sat very close too) Roger Daltrey's neice, by his brother.  She lives in Swindon, I forget her name though, but she has the surname Daltrey.

John Bonham's daughter (I think it's him, it could John Paul Jones) is in a band as has also played Swindon.

And I have met Andy Partridge's (XTC for anyone who doesn't know) daughter, she is good friends with a mate of mine.

And last of all, my old school friend is in the metal band Biomechanical and may make it big soon, they're going on tour in Italy very soon.

Oh and I almost forgot...

I went to the same school as Justin Haywood of The Moody Blues and the park he wrote Tuesday Afternoon in isn't all that far away.  My old music teacher was a school friend of his and a former work collegue of my mother's, used to date Justin Haywood.

Ooops, still forgot one, all these are true guys and girls...

I used to know and be at school with Top Topham's (former Yardbirds guitarist) son.

Small world!

If only I knew them all better, I could be advancing my music career...

No Cygnus, no relation with Peter Gabriel, she would not be Gabriel brother's daughter, it's the daughter of a woman who was suposedly married with Peter Gabriel's brother's.

But there's a problem, does Pete have a brother? I only heard about a sister named Anne, it's strange I never heard about a brother.

Well technically if Peter Gabriel had a brother who was married to a women and his brother and the women had a daughter, that daughter would be Peter Gabriel's niece. But if Peter Gabriel had a brother who married a women who already had a daughter, then that daughter is not Gabriel's niece.

And I as well have never heard that Gabriel had a brother.
