I've been thinking about this lately-

Life is short- we all love music- ok question:

Is it better to have less albums, and liisten to those religiously, or to have MANY albums and listen to them not as much?

Do you spread yourself to thin by buying many albums and find yourself rarely listening to them?

Or do you listen to your favs over and over? hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm tell me what you think!

I do not know how old you are , but one can only listen to an album a few hundred times before stopping or else it will make you sick of them> I have not listened to most "clasic Prog Giants" yet this year , unless I acquired a remaster or a DVD> I know them by heart , can almost sing them in my sleep etc......

Believe me there are hundreds of superb album to be discovered (and not just in prog) to be concentrating on a few, no matter how masterful they are!

let's just stay above the moral melee
prefer the sink to the gutter
keep our sand-castle virtues
content to be a doer
as well as a thinker,
prefer lifting our pen
rather than un-sheath our sword

Since I found this site, my music collection grows on and on and on and on..... I'm afraid I'm a compulsive buyer, however, there is a bunch of classics I always go back to.

Besides, I've got an mp3 player crammed with more than 10.000 songs and I have a long time before me to listen to them all.
