Oh gosh, yes.  I was at my mates house Saturday night for a while and he had Metallica's So What on CD.  It felt odd Metallica covering a song like that, especially as it uses English place names as well.

Was it an Anti Nowhere League tune originally, then?

^Yeah. I remember downloading the original some nine years ago from Napster (it's really that long ago, wow) and I just couldn't listen to it even though I like punk most of the time.

Oh gosh, you have that Mark Knopfler and Emmylou Harris album... it's a bit hit and miss that one.  My father plays it a lot, that's how I know it.

I got a Staggerwing and it's painted red...

Gah.

I know what a Beech Staggerwing is too.  I'm sad. LOL

^I've listened to it a couple of times so far, and I'm liking it a lot. And pretty equally all the songs. After Sailing to Philadelphia it might be the best thing with Knopfler's name on the cover. Sure as heck it beats the mediocre couple of The Ragpicker's Dream and Shangri La, possibly even the very good Kill to Get Crimson. Recently I bought one Emmylou solo album as well, I should get back to listening to it since I liked it on the first hearing. I like how their voices complement each other on the duo album.

Get Wrecking Ball.

It's her controversial album and probably my favourite of those I've heard.

Ah yes, Sailing to Philadelphia wasn't bad.  That's the one he did with James Taylor.  My father has The Ragpicker's Dream as well.  I didn't think it was that bad.

Sailing to Philadelphia's title track was done with James Taylor and it's one of my favourite songs ever Heart Other guests on the album were Van Morrison, Gillian Welch and some others I can't remember now. From Dire Straits's output that album beats at least Communiqué and On Every Street pretty easily, and they're good albums too. Ragpicker's first four tracks were brilliant (love especially Devil Baby) but then it just loses steam, the same thing happening with Shangri La midway through.

I really like the song Wrecking Ball as Neil Young's original, perhaps I'll get the Emmylou album at some point as well.

Neil Young guests on Wrecking Ball as well.

It's an experimental album (for her, anyhow).

My mom likes Emmylou Harris. I thought Wrecking Ball was really boring.

I've been thinking about slowing my shopping spree down a bit. Last month I bought about 40 cds and I think at least half of them I've only listened to once and a few I haven't listened to at all yet.

Yes but you're a n00b and your opinion doesn't count. Wink

Gosh, I'm supposed to be an avant-prog/RIO freak and here I am talking about Mark Knopfler, Emmylou Harris and Neil Young. Geek

Zuma.

A mighty fine Neil Young album.  Of course, I love Harvest, After the Gold Rush and the great live albums Live Rust and Unplugged but Zuma is just amazing.

I just made the mistake of copy and pasting all my music on C: onto my external drive (where most of it is backed up anway).

It's going to take 75 minutes! Shocked

That's the one I'm probably least familiar with of all his work from the debut to Rust Never Sleeps. My friend thinks it's his best album ever, and I've got to admit that so far it has felt really good.

At the Hendrix song would have been funny if she had gone all the way with the country thing.

You don't get to call me a noob until you have Free Jazz.

I liked the BG2 art more than ToB.

That's not bad at all, depending of course on how much music you have. If my girlfriend uses our older computer to update her portable player's playlist, adding six-seven albums lasts about twenty minutes. Then again I moved all 130 or so gigabytes of music from the external drive to my Macbook in about an hour. Tongue

I don't remember her covering a Hendrix song...

And I'm not sure if BGTutu is working as it should do for me.  I followed the install instructions and the game works but I keep thinking I'm supposed to play it in BG2.  I play BG2 as BG2, there's no option to play the original.  BG plays as BGTutu though, I think.

I'm confused.

Yes but I don't need to overwrite them all.  I just wanted to backup the albums that I've had on C: drive since my last backup (which is quite a few).  Rather than pick them all out, I thought I'd copy and paste the whole lot and say No when it asked if I wanted to Overwrite.  Instead, it gave me one option to Overwrite the folder and I said Yes, so now it's overwriting it all.  I just hope I'm not losing anything.
