I'm sorry to have to be the one to inform you of this, but there is nothing as nerdy as liking something related to Dungeons and Dragons.  I should know...I used to play it, and read the books myself.  Embarrassed

I still have my collection of books and modules from the early/mid 80's.  I was big into the  basic, expert, companion sets.  Never got into AD&D.  The prices on that stuff got CRAZY for a time 4 or 5 years ago before you were able to digitally download the stuff from the company that bought out TSR and the prices just fell off a cliff.  Never was interested in selling it though.

I was into AD&D, had many of the books and played a lot up until my early 20's.  Unfortunately, through several moves, and a few breakups (why a woman would ever want to break up with a studmuffin like me I'll never understand Confused), I no longer have any of my books.  Cry   I would get back into it, but I've found that the relationship between the number of times you score and the number of 20-sided dice you own is inversely proportional.  LOL
I can understand your anger at me, but what did the horse I rode in on ever do to you?

I actually am watching (as much as I can on the Internet) these last competitions. In 2007, tennis has become a wonderful sport for me. Clap

another installment from the book of old farts reminiscing about   the 'better' days.

have been a fan and fairly good player since the golden age of Tennis.  What days those were with Connors, Lendl, McEnroe, Mats WIllander, Edberg.  The game was so damn interesting then... not just for the personalities.. but the game itself.  Like mini chess matches each point.. rather than tossing off 150 mph  serves and maybe a volley or two.  That's why the French is really the only major tournament I still watch with regularity.  Not to mention there is no better feeling than hitting a clean  backhand winner off of a 1st serve... did that twice in a row to the number ...3 I think it was player in the state of Virginia in a HS match.  I got the sh*t kicked out of me... but I'll held that as a moral victory...  LOL

Agreed Mickey, the velocity takes away from the quality of the sport.  I still enjoy Wimbledon very much though.

Dungturds and Dragnets is not geeky! AngryLOL

I don't actually own any AD&D books myself either (apart from many of the novels), but my mate who is a DM does, so we occasionally have a few sessions.

agreed... I've watched it the last couple of years.. simple for Nadal v. Federer...  finally a rivalry that  harkens back to the great ones I referrened..

speaking of tennis...may not be new news to our european friends.. or hell.. maybe I just heard about it.

What the hell is going on in Russia... Tommy Haas ...poisoned?..  Germany v. Russia Davis Cup.  Just heard that on SportsCenter tonight.

The workshop was all about improve their work conditions and a lot of things... meanwhile, the organization didn't included my email address (they asked me to put it in the first place) and used the desing for every graphic piece, copybooks, banners, etc. I'm not mad about it, but they totally ruined the desing with the applications, never asked me how to use it properly, never told me the size of the canvas, I received the real text and contents one day before the deadline... I'm not a saint, but at least I need to be sure that my work is going to be used properly. Instead, well, nevermind. The poster as such never saw the light, the full desing was only featured in those hand copybooks in a really smaller size...

They never sent the logos of the involved organizations also. Instead, they just added then as can be seen on the lower left edge ...
That's a really cool poster! Thumbs%20Up

Really, I like your work!

You should've seen our last poster, it was made with paint, by a colourblind person who had never used paint before Dead
