That's not a shed, it's a summer house.
A shed's not a shed without - 1) one old lawn mower that you never use 2) some old tins of paint that might come in handy one day 3) some old beach toys and inflatable objects 4) last year's bulbs 5) some string 6) an assortment of plant pots or is that just mine?

Talking of sheds, I really need to paint mine. I've got a garden seat that I'm in the process of stripping and painting - I started last Saturday by washing the bird p**p off it then left it to dry and then it rained for the rest of the weekend

Gotten a second job as a professional comics reviewer for a Danish-language literary webzine, since they've actually been looking for someone to specialize in that medium. (though I'm not that comfortable reviewing superhero stuff, because my knowledge of the genre is rather limited) I'm also going to the Copenhagen Comics Convention tomorrow, hoping to maybe get an interview with some of the artist and authors whose work I can expect to interview in the near future.
In other news, me and that Chinese girl have decided that we're too different to fit together. I'm half somewhat downbeat but also kinda relieved because we don't know each other very well and she's not really my type. I've got the best chemistry with women who are extreme introverts and relatively gender-nonconforming, a description she does not fit at all. Also, I don't know how we'd continue when she moved back to China. |

All of the above... (the inflatable objects are two dingies and several airbeds) plus... ... three post-Glastonbury tents, all damaged in some way or other plus numerous camping stoves and other living under canvas oriented paraphernalia. ... two tea chests full of old toys that Debs and Alex were going to take to a car boot sale eleven years ago ... a badly warped decorating/pasting table ... an Amstrad CPC6128 computer plus several boxes of 3" floppy discs ... a steam radio, non-functioning ... several car radios, none of them functional ... a rear parcel shelf for a VW Sirocco mounted with two 100W 10" Earbender speakers ... a 12" subwoofer bass cannon ... a 400W ICE amplifier for above ... a freezer full of ice-cream and frozen fruit. ... a tumble drier that hasn't been used in over 25 years ... and this new addition: ![]() |

I'm liking the new addition, we have on in our garage.
Your shed sounds a bit like my loft Dean, especially the " tea chests full of old toys that Debs and Alex were going to take to a car boot sale eleven years ago". We have loads of old toys. We did a boot sale last weekend, loaded the car up with toys, sold a few, bought all the rest back home again. ![]() |

Aye, that is my fear too. However since they've been sat in the shed for 11 years I suspect we'd have more success at a collectors toy fayre, there must be a market for two crates of Barbies, Polly Pockets, Sylvanian Families, Beanie Babies and a Thomas the Tank Engine train set. Either that or we find a play-group to donate them too.
The shed now has a deck attached, it's quite not finished yet (hence the general state of untidiness, tool boxes and bags of builder's sand) but we've already christened it by cooking a paella on the table-top BBQ on Sunday while downing several glasses of sangria. ![]() One of the cats (Syd - skulking under the table) as adopted it as hers - she's even taken to bopping any of the other cats who try using the gravel garden as a kitty litter, which is a bonus. |

thanks Tim, it's getting there, still a fair bit of work to be done - but now at least it looks more like a patio than the car-port that it once was.

Micky just called me an "old timer", which made me realise that I've just gone past my 10 year anniversary at PA, so I thought I'd throw a virtual party.
