Christ, why did I use to frequent this establishment on a daily basis? I read Vonnegut's Cat's Cradle - I didn't much care for it. I'm going to read To Your Scattered Bodies, Go. I probably won't care much for it. Ursula K. Le Guin kinda bored me, and A Canticle for Leibowitz was moderately eyeopening, not majorly so. Asimov's Foundation series seems like a tame, childish version of Dune. Up next as well is Rendezvous with Rama, Day of the Triffids, Lord of Light, Three Stigmata of Palmer Eldritch, I am Legend, and To Kill a Mockingbird.

99%  of sci-fi is lame.
People have to accept that and move on.

The idea came to me when I was reading the prog mans thread and I couldn't resist making and posting it since Logan tacitly approved threadbombing by moving it to JFF instead of locking it.

I hate most of anything. I especially hate long books that don't get to the point and move on. Atlas Shrugged? Hated it. Anthem? Loved it. Of Mice and Men/The Pearl? Loved them. East of Eden/Grapes of Wrath? Shoot me, now. Most Stephen King? Don't care. Most Philip K. Dick, loved it. Blah blah blah.

Well, pony makes it okay, I guess.
I thought Logan gave us a chance to save the thread by posting intelligently :P

Bill Bailey is the man. Although, I must confess, Dylan Moran was better in Black Books.
