Hey James, the Dragon Age 2 demo came out today. Have you played it?

'fraid not.

I do have the uber version on pre-order though.  I've not even finished the first game or expansion yet.  D'oh!

Any idea when it's out?  I need to pick it up within 24 hours of release from Game, or lose my deposit.

Oh and have you played it?  I'm curious as to how it is.  I've not read about it for ages and I used to frequent the Bioware forums a lot earlier in the year.
Drop what you're doing and finish it now! LOL

Umm, my roommate played the demo, I'm waiting until the full game comes out. He likes it a lot. They infused action-y elements into it. Like in combat, you have to push 'A' to attack.

It comes out on March 8 here, not sure about England-land.

I like Soleil D'Ork, I prefer the E-Re version of zombies (way faster, for one thing) and I prefer Jannick Top's version of De Futura

Ewww... action-y?

Hmm.

I'd rather it was less action-y.

Did they put the adjustable overhead view in, in the end?  I mean on the PC version, of course.

I usually buy games near the end of their life, to save money but I could not stop myself with the pre-order, as you get extra sh*t.  I may not play it for a while, as I'm sure it'll need patching.

Too bad we're probably not going to get to fusion or anything even more 2deep4u than whatever jazz already is to most people. I want to see the football players squirm (not gay, though, brah).

Seriously, it kind of irritates me that they just act like a****les during the class. OK, hip hop's fine, but your people should really take a sh*tload more pride in jazz. It's pretty damn brilliant and revolutionary, as well as requiring an equal skill set to the greatest of classical composers.

Instead, just f**king Kanye. Which, ok fine. But goddammit.

I'm taking an intro Jazz class as well. A lot of the people in my class know a lot/like jazz. Even some jocks, which is nice. Probably my favorite class, TBH. That's funny, we also just got to Louis Armstrong.

Indeed.  Me too.

I just love E-Ré studio more than most Magma though.  It's such an amazing album.  I like the trippy bit in Zombies with multiple voices, that's on E-Ré.  Plus of course it has the girls on it.  I don't think this one does.

The PC version is supposed to be much more strategically-based, like the first one. That actually really irks me. Not sure why they felt the need to tamper with the console combat. Meh.  And yeah, I think the overhead view is there as well.

The preorder is da sh*t. My brother ordered it not too long ago.

It was just too good to resist.

The only issue I may have is spec... I am running XP on a Dual-Core Laptop at 3.4 GHz. or something.

I have accepted I'm a white hipster when it comes to rap and hip-hop. Listening to Nas's Illmatic now. Good sh*t. Tribe Called Quest, Fugees, and DJ Shadow (if he counts) is where it's at. Gonna listen to this De La Soul album sometime. I'll be listening to Wu-Tang in no time.

My Job Coach says this about me:

We discussed that you have a very positive personality and this will serve you well at work.

LOL

I'm a very cynical b*****d.  Has he not realised this yet?

if it's actually 3.4 GHz (which I seriously doubt) you won't have any trouble running it

The videocard is more important than processor anyway.

I need to delete my Gemcraft save so I stop playing this stupid f**king game.

I am going to sleep, maybe.

no it's not.

although you having a laptop, that will probably be the factor that makes it unplayable

Dragon Age does run pretty well but it has its moments.  So I'm a tad concerned by Dragon Age II as well as The Witcher 2 (the first game struggles a bit).

That is what I am referring to. Most games can scale down to relatively recent hardware, but an integrated video card will wreck everything
