We've played music together for over 20 years and Disconnect is the latest incarnation of our collaborative efforts.  We officially formed in December 2009 and, since that time, have now written & recorded four full-length albums as well as an EP (all available as streaming audio here at Prog Archives).

Our newest album is entitled "Enough Blame To Go Around" and was released on May 9th, 2012 (today!). It's quite a bit darker,  heavier, and more complex than our prior work, and we are hopeful we can gain some new listeners as we continue to expand our sound.  Although we are part of the 'Crossover Prog' category here at PA, we feel our sound has evolved into Heavy Prog.

As we have come to feel at home here at PA, we decided to let the PA community have the first opportunity to hear "Enough Blame To Go Around".   The album is available for streaming here at Prog Archives on our artist page:

http://www.progarchives.com/artist.asp?id=6100

We are happy to send out CD copies to anyone who prefers to listen to a lossless audio source, just post here or PM me and let me know.

Our Prog Archives artist profile:   http://www.progarchives.com/artist.asp?id=6100

And you can also check us out on the web at the following:

We feel "Enough Blame To Go Around" is our best work yet - we spent over 9 months writing and recording it.  We're very proud of it and hopefully the effort we put into it will be obvious to those who listen.

Many thanks in advance for taking the time to listen to & review our music.

Disconnect to get the closing (headline) slot on New Moon On Monday the week of June 4 2012.

Disconnect's brand of intricate and superb Progressive jamming is a real treat. The thought provoking lyrics will challenge  as well as amuse (or at least evoke a wry smile).

Come join us and check out Disconnect as well as 5 other albums!

Listening to this right now.  Very nice!  The WTC quotes kind of gave me the creeps!!  Nice 'echolyn-style' vocal harmonies on "Sufficient".

thanks for the feedback, much appreciated!

Never thought of the echolyn similarity on that track, but that's very flattering to hear.  I'll be meeting the guys from echolyn next weekend at NEARfest, as they have a vendor table there to promote their new album.  Can't wait to hear it....

Still seeking more reviews - also I believe there are a couple PA members who have received CDs that haven't posted a review yet   Wink   so we're hopeful those individuals will be posting their reviews soon.
