Thanks

Cornershop - When I Was Born for the Seventh Time
is a very good 2000 recording(similar to BECK, for
you Young Americans).
You got any progressive suggestions from the INDIA,
IRAN, THAI, BURMESE scene 70,80,90s, it dont
matter for your western friends?

yes they are tripping at the TAJ MAHAL now!

Karmakanic, TransAtlantic, The Tangent (Stolt and Reingold related - if you don't already know that) and one un-related...Frogg Cafe.

All I can think of, for now.

There are just two good progressive bands that I know of in Indian rite now; Motherjane and Thermal and a Quarter. Is there anyway I can submit those bands here? and maybe upload a few mp3s?

Thanks for the recommendation  btw.

Karmakanic is a Jonas Reingold project, with a lot of contributions by other FK members.Their 2 albums Entering the Spectra and Wheel of Life are excellent. The Tangent is simply brilliant, the first album consisting of 3 members of Parallel or 90 Degrees,3 from the FK's,and David Jackson from VDGG.Both albums are simply brilliant,I highly recommend them.

Have you checked out the first Kaipa albums? During the late seventees the band sounded great, the sound of swedish forest with a lot of Yes and lyrics in swedish! Tons better than that new stereotypic plastic Roine Stolt sound!

Check out "Inget nytt under solen" (Nothing new beneath the sun) with the wonderful "Skenet bedrar" (Mirage? or something like that...). A twentyfive minutes epic that crushes the new Flower Kings completely!

But yes, "Space Revolver" is fantastic....

If these words does not stand I might lend you a hand, do you understand? (ie the rhyme was planned)

The Stolt AND Bodin solo records are very nice, too. In particular Hydrophonia and Sonic Boulevard.

I've only heard "Mindrevolutions" by Kaipa. Loved it, probably because of its similarity to FK. Will check out those stuff you mentioned above.
